New Hampshire's quiet corner will surprise you. Come for the wildlife but don't expect to find it in clubs or bars because there aren't very many (but there are some and we'll make a list with you). Just beyond every turn in the road there are secrets and secret places along with the famous ones. The Monadnock Travel Council has listing of lots of places to see.

To the south the Connecticut River Valley from North Hampton to the Berkshires aren't far away. There is boating and hiking. Historic Deerfield is just over a half-hour away. There are lots of roads that lead to hidden places that are very special. The Yellow Barn in Putney, Vermont, Colonial Theatre in Keene, New Hampshire, Boutique Shops on the Main Streets of Keene, New Hampshire and Brattleboro, Vermont. Our chenille is woven by Nancy O'Connor, located on the north side of Scofield Mountain, and our syrup comes from all of the sugar houses on the mountain.

You may want to take off and explore new territories on your own and make your own discoveries. Take a journal and start your very own adventure that can be a personal triumph for you. You may want to make a collection of wildflowers. Small presses can easily document the moment of your stay. These pressed flowers can be added to your journal - make this an experience that will lift your spirits when you read it in the years to come.
